Act Release the National Front for the Gender Identity Law

Next Thursday May 5 at 18:00 pm., Capital CTA headquarters (766 Independence Street) will be presented the National Front for the Law on Gender Identity, composed by the Association for the Struggle for Transvestite and Transsexual Identity (ALITT), the Comunidad Homosexual Argentina (CHA), Nadia Cooperative Echazu Andiscriminatorio Liberation Movement (MAL), Future transgendered, Putos Peronist Meeting for Diversity - Córdoba, Youth for Diversity, Antroposex, Crisalida Tucuman, Salta ADISTA and independent activists.

The National Front for the Law of Gender Identity, is a initiative promoted by organizations, groups and activists transvestites transgénerxs, trans, intersex, lesbian, gay and bisexual men of different political affiliation and militants, who develop joint actions to promote discussion and approval of the bill presented in November 2010 in the Sala José Luis Cabezas del Congreso de la Nación (E Xpediente 8126-D-2010) .

This project is initially with the signatures of the / os Deputies / o Nation: Diana Conti (FPV), Vilma Ibarra (New Meeting), Martin Sabbatella (New Meeting), Margarita Stolbizer (GEN) Cecilia Merchán (Free South), Victoria Donda (Libres del Sur), Marcela Rodríguez (Civic Coalition-ARI), Juliana Di Tullio (FPV), Fernanda Gil Lozano (Civic coalition-ARI), Remo Carlotto (FPV), Maria Luisa Storani (UCR) and Laura Alonso (PRO) . In addition, we endorsement from various social, cultural, political, human rights, nationally and internationally.

The ceremony will be attended by all these organizations and references to give a clear message to Congress of the Nation: GENDER IDENTITY ACT NOW.
