- RECOMMENDATION OF THE WEEK:
Faun - "Totem" (2007)
Rarely is so gratifying and inspiring the discovery of a new group to these point in the film. But these Germans are a clear example. Faun boast an extensive musical training in his short but productive career. Four albums in just five years are its seal of quality.
'Totem' is its latest review and I think the more elaborate of all. Faun's music brings together several centuries of folklore in different regions of the world. Play your music takes us back to different periods in remote parts of Europe, Africa or the Middle East. The implementation of the wide range of instruments used in music is totally manual and real, something that certainly is very welcome in these times of emulators and synthetic overdose.
His concerts promise to be an unforgettable experience. Maybe not as stressful as the holidays and Corvus Corax, but surely a very special atmosphere. A privilege for those who are able to see them this weekend in Barcelona.
