Since its birth in the eighty-first on the ashes of punk training: Crisis - Death in June has been much talk. But their lineup changes-Pearce is the only permanent member since 1986 - and the occasional misunderstanding, with more or less right, on its ideological content, their quality and influence on the music of the past quarter century is indisputable.

With this work Douglas Pearce starts his turn called 'apocalyptic folk' . Among his subjects are some of the finest compositions of British and 'Runes and Men' or 'To Drown a Rose' . Douglas also has, as always, has been used-class collaborators: David Tibet (Current 93) , John Balance (Coil ) or Rose McDowall ( Sorrow, Spell ) are some of them.
